Be someone’s example

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds – Hebrews 10:24

How many ways can we think of to encourage others to love? What are we doing to excite others to do good things?

The best way to start is by doing those things ourselves, and by putting ourselves into a place where we don’t hinder those things in others. If we treat someone badly or have unkind words, do we inspire them to love? If we neglect other’s needs are we motivating them to do good things?

Do we want to be encouragers? Encouragement begins by being an example. Instead of telling others what they should do, we can ask them to join us in doing it. Do we want to inspire others to love? Then love them. Do we want to motivate others to do good deeds? Then do good things for them. Be someone’s example!
