Rejoice!

Rejoice!

But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them ever shout for joy. May You shelter them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You. – Psalm 5:11

Do you really want God to take care of you? All the time? Or just when things go wrong and you have nowhere else to turn?

God is always willing to hear and answer our cries if we come with a humble heart. Wouldn’t it be great if we didn’t wait until we “needed” Him or got ourselves into a bad situation? He often does use difficult circumstances to draw us to Him, to show us He loves us and that we need His care. But if we are honest, we have to admit we need Him in every circumstance, not just the hard ones.

God loves us so much He wants to be a continual part of our lives. Everyday He offers us His care and provides anything we might need. He is always listening, and always answering. Yet because of our own selfishness we often neglect Him, and ignore His love. Part of our walk with Jesus is learning to rely on Him day by day, and even minute by minute. We can share our needs and wants, our problems and victories, and our desire to love Him more. God loves to be with us!

He protects us, let us rejoice. He cares for us, let us rejoice. He loves us, shout for joy!
