What is the best way to start your day—? To hear about God’s unfailing love and kindness!
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. – Colossians 3:23-24
Who is it you work for? Is it your boss? Some company? A client? The stockholders, or maybe even your own family?
And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him. – 1 John 5:14-15
What does it mean to ask God “according to His will”?
