Love the Lord
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. – Deuteronomy 6:5
How much does the Lord love you? Does He love you with all of His heart? Does He love you with all of His soul? Does He love you with all of His strength?
God is so vast that He can love each of us deeply and completely. His love is without measure. God’s love is boundless because it is part of His nature, it is who He is. Everything was formed by His imagination and power, all that exists is because of His creativity. Yet His love is even greater and more mighty than that!
God uses his imagination to love us. He thinks of ways provide and care for us. His creativity
produces an endless supply of nurturing. He is always paying attention to to our needs and desires. It is the the deep love of an all-powerful Father who is capable of bringing about all things in every moment of His dear children’s lives.
God knows we cannot return that kind of love. But He asks us to consider His wonderful love for us, and respond to it the best that we can. Use our hearts and will, give our innermost thoughts and desires, turn our strength and efforts towards loving Him. He doesn’t ask for duty or responsibility or obligation. He wants us to be His children and love Him as a Father. He knows that love brings us into a relationship with Himself, and also joy and peace with each other. Love the Lord!
