What things in your life are most important to you?
What things are going to bring you the most reward, the largest fortune, the highest fame? What is your greatest asset, what brings you the biggest profit, what gives you the best advantage?
Nothing can compare to the immeasurable value of knowing Jesus. The biggest rewards that the world offers you are going to disappear someday. The largest fortune will count for nothing in the kingdom of heaven. Fame and popularity will be soon forgotten. All the things that we desire or want to hold onto are nothing compared to the joy of knowing Jesus.
His love is forever. His forgiveness is forever. His blessings are forever. His care for us is forever. Everything else, everything, is temporary and fleeting. But the joy of knowing His love is for always.
