Do you harbor grudges or resentment? — Just stop!
How often do we take pleasure in hearing of someone, particularly someone we may have had a hard time with, getting into trouble or falling into wrong? We haven’t acted or done anything spiteful, but we find that little enjoyment of hearing of their difficulties.
How do we define love? God chooses not to give a theoretical or psychological explanation. Instead, He describes it with very practical and visible actions. Do this, it is love. Do that, it is not love. Let’s look at the negative things first.
Through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus we have been forgiven, and become children of God. We trust Him for our future and the Holy Spirit guides us in our day to day walk, and gives us power to become new. What about these temptations then?
What is it that really lasts? Is it what you know or what you have said? God is very clear about what things are most important. Knowledge, language (spiritual or earthly), and even prophesy and explaining God’s word will come to an end. But what will never cease?
